Attention all moms! If you are short on time and what to drop a few pounds, you may want to consider home exercise videos online that get you moving and make you sweat. For me, a good sweaty workout that gets me moving is the best for making me feel better and helping me loose weight. Workouts like Low Impact, or Dance Aerobics or Spinning are by nature just more fun than a treadmill or a stair climber. I would start with a cardiovascular type workout, these type of workouts help burn fat, increase your energy, and they kind of put the pep back in your step If you like a mental challenge while you burn calories, workouts like Cardio Hip Hop or Salsa Aerobics might be just the thing to get you moving. Or if you have two left feet and simply want to work up a sweat and not worry about fancy footwork, I would recommend Cardio Kickboxing, or maybe a circuit training workout that incorporates callisthenic type moves with hand weights. Or how about dragging your husband out for an evening walk to unwind after a long day, you will get in a workout while having a little adult time with your honey.
Ladies, a good cardiovascular workout should be your best friend, it should be your defense again fatigue and stress and your solution to feeling and looking the way you want to. And since your kids watch every thing that you do, you are not only getting healthier, but you are acting as a role model to your kids so that they can also enjoy all the wonderful benefits of a strong, healthy body. Lead your family through example that exercise is just something you do every single day, just like putting on your clothes or making your bed – its part of what you do to live a good life. So stop thinking about it and do something – buy a few exercise videos that appeal to you, a workout that you can really get your teeth into, because it’s not just about your health, you kids are watching and when they see mommy enjoying her workout, it will teach them the importance of a healthy and fit life.
